We have recently developed a new classification of cloud. As you know, all clouds are grouped by type - each group having a name. Some of our classification names have been less than successful in that they have been rather difficult to remember and to pronounce (e.g. nimbostratus & altocumulus).
We have now re-organised our Naming Department (the previous incumbent having been sideways shifted to Distribution) and our Head of Advertising has suggested that we open the naming process to the general public.
Therefore we are running a competition to "Name the Clouds". Please e-mail us your entry. After the closing date our panel of experts will choose their five favourite entries. These names will be displayed on our web site giving everyone the opportunity to vote. The name that receives the highest number of votes will win. (Please remember we are a family organisation and that the chosen name will be printed in school books across the world).
N.B. The Judges decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. No bribes accepted (unless indecently huge!).
Closing Date: when we have received sufficient entries or we get bored (whichever is the sooner).
Please e-mail your entry to: firstname.lastname@example.org
